Welcome to Antler Ranch Appaloosas
(formally War'in Appaloosas),
I grew up with horses, as a child I rode and leased other people's horses. I rode many different breeds of horses, and always said I'd never own an appaloosa. When I could afford to care for my own horse I purchased my first horse Dakota. She was an appaloosa quarter horse cross mare, from that moment on I was hooked on the Appaloosa breed.
In 2003 I purchased my stallion Warrin Top Straw from Windwalker Appaloosas. They had a production sale, which was held at the Drayton Valley Auction Mart. I bid on Warrin to a final dollar amount that I was willing to spend, and ended up letting the other bidder have the last bid. I went and talked to the lady that had purchased him, as I was interested in breeding a mare the following spring. She decided that she had better not bring home another horse, so we went to the office and changed Warrin into my name. Talk about great luck!!
In 2011 my husband and I purchased our 113 Acre ranch. We are located north west of Peers, Alberta. Just off Highway 32. We are breeding quality registered Appaloosas with great minds, big hips, good bone and feet, pretty heads, athletic ability, and lots of COLOR! Our horses carry the bloodlines of Silver Duke, Toby II, Red Plaudit, Two Eyed Jack, King, Prince Plaudit, Go Man Go, Mighty Bright, Top Quest, The Corn Husker, Apache II, Rustler Bill, Northern Dancer, Ulrich Kavalier, and many more.
